Karl Unterkircher
I was born on August 27th 1970 and live with my family in Selva Val Gardena (Dolomites South Tyrol).
As a boy my leisure were activities to football matches and skiing. After the secondary school I studied as a garage mechanic and at the age of 15 years my adventurousness did me to the first climbing attempts. In the military service I became a climbing instructor with the paratroopers. Then after several years of my mountaineer's activity I finished in 1997 the mountain guide's check and since then my passion became the occupation.
Active member of the mountain rescue group Val Gardena (Catores) and president of the "Aiut Alpin Dolomites".
